Extensibility Philosophy

A platform you can build on, not just buy.

Mediacast is built around a stable, versioned REST API and a documented event model. Venue operators integrate ticketing, CRM, and BI systems against the same endpoints the first-party UIs use. Systems integrators build custom workflows on top of the platform without forking the codebase. Hardware vendors integrate new endpoint types through the same protocol surface that drives shipped products.

The open-source pieces of the stack — starting with MediaCaster v2 — mean the parts you depend on most are inspectable, forkable, and contributable. We ship the source for the components where ecosystem participation matters more than vendor exclusivity.
